Elemental Design Solutions' mission is to provide professional redesigning, staging, and decorating services that meet a client's personal objectives. Whether it is to create a more comfortable living environment, maximize profits in a real estate transaction or integrate existing furnishings into a new space, I work with the client and their surrounding environment to incorporate decorating changes using Feng Shui principles.

My vision is to create interior spaces which help the client meet their design goals as well as to apply Feng Shui principles to optimize Qi in their environment. Additionally, I aim to educate and share the age old theories and applications of Feng Shui with the modern western world.

About Kathy Allen Hamrick

I am a professionally trained Interior Redesign specialist and Certified Advanced Feng Shui practicioner with over six years of experience with interior redesign, Feng Shui and consulting. I am a member of Interior Redesign Industry Specialists (I.R.I.S.), the foremost international professional association for interior redesigners. My redesign training was provided by I.R.I.S co-founder Donna Reynolds and Kristine Moore. I received both my practitioner and advanced Feng Shui certifications from Helen and James Jay, senior students of H.H. Thomas Lin Yun, Grandmaster of the Black-sect Tantric Buddhism (BTB) School of Feng Shui. I have worked with a variety of clients from coast to coast. In addition to Redesign and Feng Shui certifications, I have an MBA from San Francisco State University and interior design training from the Fashion Institute in New York City.

Up until a few years ago, I had a fast-paced IT consulting job. During this same time, I also earned my MBA, attending classes on nights and weekends. Due to the nature of this schedule, I was spending more time at home. As I spent more time living, studying and working in the same surroundings, I began to incorporate some Feng Shui cures in an attempt to create a healthier environment where I could be more productive at work but keep it separate from a more relaxed home. Within a few weeks I began to notice I was more productive, relaxed, and healthier. Based on these experiences with Feng Shui, my interior decorating experience and my MBA, I have combined this knowledge and created Elemental Design Solutions. Elemental Design Solutions is dedicated to sharing the theories and concepts of redesign and Feng Shui and applying them to business and personal spaces.
